Discover Guatemala

Guatemala is a magical place. If you decide to make a trip there, its Mayan ruins, mountains, markets and thousands of new experiences will make your trip unforgettable. Try to make several trips around the area, as you may discover that there are so many different places so close in one place.

You can not forget a visit to Antigua. This is the land of fantasy. It is a place where power lines run underground, building codes are met, the garbage is collected, traffic is diverted from the center and stray dogs “disappear” mysteriously in the middle of the night. Antigua is beautiful. It is located between three volcanoes: Agua (3766m), Fire (3763m) and Acatenango (3976m), and cityscapes are available to be photographed repeatedly.

After Antigua, you should visit other places such as: Lake Izabal or Nebaj, which is a Mayan village hidden in a fold of a mountain. Sooner or later end up in the area known as the Highlands, where you can see Lake Atitlan.

Guatemala Mayan heritage is everywhere. Remote sites such as El Petén are inescapable. Do not miss the fascinating city of Chichicastenango and Santa Lucia Cotzumalguapa. The latter will offer a vision of culture pipil very mysterious. Before traveling to Guatemala was much more dangerous now, so take advantage and make a trip where you can do whatever you want in an incredibly beautiful place.
